But not a single Play list other than "Purchased," which must be a default.SAN FRANCISCO -(Business Wire)- Monster, a world leader in advanced consumer electronic accessories, will be demonstrating its ultra-convenient “Monster ControlTalk™” headphone cable at its Macworld Booth #1587/1589. ![]() Some are from CDs I've copied to iTunes others from downloads. Far more artists show up in the Songs list. It appears that in Music, only about 35 of NUMEROUS other artists in my iTunes library appear in the Artists list. One curious thing: I don't share my whole library of music on the Cloud, because I can still take it all with me on my iPod if I ever want to (Don't). I have no idea how all of this happened because I'd been playing my iTunes music through the iPad for a few weeks, then POOF. ![]() I hit the home button and there's the spinning wheel again. I'm also sitting right next to the router with it to be sure it's not a distance problem.īefore that thicker arc makes its move all around the full circle (IF that's what it's supposed to do) the iPad goes to sleep. When I select My Music, at first a thin-lined wheel spins, and then it shows no more spinning but a thicker arc that begins to move from 12:00 clockwise and then reaches maybe 1/3 to 1/2 around, then does nothing. To the right, it's blank, unlike above that where my iPad is listed, and there is a red check. Reset the iPad twice, and it worked exactly as you described, minus any red slider.Ĭurrently, back in Music I've got the Shared screen on and it lists Music from the mac. Turned Home Sharing off and back on numerous times. I've also followed your instructions about the router and closing iTunes itself on the Mac. Thanks.įollowing your instructions, I had closed Music on the iPad by swiping it off the screen, leaving only the home page with the apps icons. I wasn't the least bit offended, because I WAS confused, and you tried to help. Unplug your our router from power for about 30 seconds, and then plug it in again. Next, reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Swipe to get to the Music app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. ![]() In order to close the Music app, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. I know that everything else is connecting to the network and there are no issues with other devices, but rebooting the router really can help. The very first thing that I would do would be to close the Music app, reset your iPad, and reboot your router as well. I'm sure that things were working just fine for you up until these problems cropped up with the spinning wheels. I just meant that you had the two functions sort of confused, that's all. You aren't nuts and I didn't mean to insult you and if I did, I apologize. After rereading my response I think that I may have come off the wrong way.
